    I was told by the shop i bought the tiles from to use 2mm spacing for 600x600mm porcelain floor tiles. I have since read online that it is not recommended but I have already laid some tiles. Will anything bad happen?

    Points 1 & 2 I'm sure about. For point 3, there was no sign of any washer supplied that will marry between the external nut and the button of the cistern, is that was what you meant?

    It’s conical and the bottom of the cone will be married to the bottom of the cistern. I’ll try a bead of silicone there.

    Brand new close coupled toilet and has been leaking from below the inlet valve from the get go. I removed whole valve and retightened to the max I could with no luck. What else could I do?

    Basically i want to protect the pipe from hardbacker because there is one small section where the board is going to go very close if not be just touching the pipe (due to uneven wall), so want to be extra safe.

    Can’t seal shower valve

    When trying to mount a shower valve onto these two 3/4” tap extender fittings, the washer ends up getting destroyed and washer leaks out immediately. What am I doing wrong? I have tried both rubber and fiber washers.
