    as far as i can see the basin drains into the 2 inch pipe and then direct into soil, so it doesnt drain anything else, thanks for your advice.

    i have put some 1000 grade lining paper on a distressed wall, but under natural light the imperfections still show through, is it ok to add another layer of lining paper?

    i am adding a new toilet/shower to a downstairs room, i have taken advice and it has been suggested to dig a pit in floor, locate soil which should be easy. add a t junction and then run new loo/shower into this with a small sub stack. is this a diy job or should i just dig the pit myself...

    yep get your point, no it doesnt starve the rest of the house at the moment, so there is no reason that it will once the shower is attached. cool that will save me so much hassle, thanks for the advice, just the toilet waste to deal with now!!

    so 'if' my mains pressure is ok, there should be no problem taking a feed from the cold tap in downstairs toilet which is directly behind where i intend new shower to go?? this will not starve the rest of the house
