Yeah. Judging by the rest of the house and things I’ve had to sort, they didn’t know what they were doing (or didn’t care). I’m tempted to rip that part out to be honest as it just looks terrible. Probably quicker to do that part that way.

How do you use the plywood strips to get your levels? I think im going to take out the high spots. Rather than a grinder I think I’ll cut into it with a big cutting disc. Then knock bits out between the cut lines. Then will build up the really low spot and SLC the whole floor.
