Hi ive just had a disaster removing grout from the floor tiles ive scratched one. whats the best way to remove it .The floor has been leveld using leveling compound & ply. My neaibour has suggested a propane blow torch.would this work? Thank you

Hi i have some bathroom downlighters i want to put one above the bath,the instructions say they are for zone 2. The diagram shows zone 2 being 225cm from the floor & outside the bath area. As the ceiling is 240cm from the floor above the bath will this be ok ? Thanks

Hi im fitting a new shower in the bathroom that requires pumping the downstairs shower can be upgraded. Im going to use a 2 bar pump but do i need to increase the size of the hot tank as its only a std gravity tank. Thanks

You say it wont be sucking in air any where else, but could it be taking in air within the boiler ?

Hi i tried the bottle test.When the pump started it took some of the water then air bubbles came out and the water levell returned to normal.From this i assume its not sucking in air at this point. If i am correct can it be sucking in air somewhere without expelling water.The pump is located...

The problem is the rads are so hot you cannot put your hand on them.

Hi everybody I have an open vented system running water & heating ,when the heating is on the rads get very hot, but the thermostat on the boiler is only on no1.All rads have tvrs set on no 3.The boiler is a potterton prima f. i would be grateful if anybody has any ideas. many thanks
