    May as well remove the w/m valve, replace with a backplate elbow and screw tap on, hopefully there will be enough 'flex' in the pipe to screw the backplate elbow to the wall? That way your tap is in your outhouse, is that what you want as you mention not wanting to drill through walls...........

    Unvented all the way would be my advice if you have the required flow and pressure rates. You wont regret it.............. Option 2 would prob work out cheaper than option 2 at the moment, I cna buy stainless cylinders cheaper than copper due to the high copper prices. Good luck!

    Are monobloc tap inserts all the same size?

    Normally turn the spout so it is running parrallel with the sink, so not facing you, and lift off! Might need quite a pull though as sometimes very stiff. Then just replace the O ring (s) Good luck
