Best way to fix vinyl floor to shed base?

In the end I bought some evostick adhesive spray and this stuff STICKS :) I'll use clout nails in the future if it comes away. Thanks for the carpet grip idea, I will definately use that for the entrance!

Best way to fix vinyl floor to shed base?

Just wondering if I should use the spray adhesive or use clout nails that you use for roofing felt. The shed is 12 x 7 and I have a huge roll of 3mm thick vinyl. The base is made out of 18mm exterior plywood. Shed houses a heavy motorbike... Posh shed I know

    Roof felt on ramp?

Just had a shed built and due to it being higher than ground level I've had to have a ramp built. The ramp has timber supports and 18mm exterior plywood for the top. The more this gets walked on it chips away bit by bit and it the wet it will be pretty slippy to get my motorbike in and...

2.5mm from fused spur to ceiling rose?

I used the 2.5mm as I got 10meters for free so I thought I'd use it. I used SY as the cable runs along a small garden wall, it's out of sight and harms way but I wanted it to have some protection without the hassle of terminating SWA.

2.5mm from fused spur to ceiling rose?

Would there be any problems in using a 3A or 5A fuse in the spur, using the 2.5mm between the ceiling rose and the spur? Thanks.

2.5mm from fused spur to ceiling rose?

Sorry, I meant to say 13A on the fused spur, not 32A. At the existing socket end I have wired the 1.5mm 3 core cable to a plug, so really it's just like an extension cable. I went for the 1.5mm as a standard 1.25mm extension reel would do everything I need so thought 2.5mm would be overkill...

2.5mm from fused spur to ceiling rose?

Hi everyone, I have wired some 1.5mm 3 core SY flex from an existing socket to a new double socket in my shed, and I have used this same cable from the new socket to a fused spur. I have then used some 2.5mm 3 core from the spur to a ceiling rose. The fused spur came with a 32a fuse...

    Mixing concrete

Probably the dumbest question on the board but... I'm planning on cementing one of these in a bucket to place under my shed base before it's built. I'd rather not use the stuff you add water to as it's not as good. How easy would it be to mix two buckets worth of cement if I use the...

What would you do to this for a shed base?

My other worry is having to make a ramp to get my motorbike in. Sorry, forgot to mention that!

What would you do to this for a shed base?

As my garden (and fence) goes down on a slope I'm not sure what to do with this area. As you can see there's already a flat base made of breezblocks (two layers) but if I keep it like this the shed will poke over the fence (maybe up to 1ft). Not sure if I should take the top layer of...

    Removing gravel and Tarmacing drive

Hi all, About a year ago I had half grass and half tarmac in my front garden. The grass was a bit of a mess and so decided to extend the drive. We dug out all of the grass and a couple of inch of mud, put membrane down and put 3 ton of gravel on top. All was well for a few months...

Which way should I build this frame?

Ok thanks. I just thought one way would be better than the other (kind of like the way you hang a gate with the brace going a certain way).

Which way should I build this frame?

I'm going to be building a garden storage box from wood. I have a fairly good idea in my head what I should do but I'm not sure which of these ways I should build the base. Is any way better (more sturdier than the other)? Thanks.
