Hang vertical rad with brick screws?

I've just measured the widest diameter of the supplied screws (below the head) and they come in at 5.8 mm. The screws shown in the link in my original post are 7.5 mm, so it's possible those concrete screws would not go through the supplied brackets.

Hang vertical rad with brick screws?

If hanging an 1800 mm tall vertical radiator which weighs 50 kg, do you think it's best to use the standard screw with wall plug supplied, or to alternatively use an equivalent brick screw which does not require a wall plug? Example...

Royal Doulton toilet - Syphonic ?

Oh, so cheaper to purchase when new. I had wondered why that was there. I wonder if these were also used as residential outside loos, or commercial-only. The side connection has been blocked so would appear to have been used unconnected to others.

Royal Doulton toilet - Syphonic ?

Just curious, as I had read in the aforementioned thread that someone had the same brand of loo. I hadn't actually heard of syphonic before, so was curious as to how to recognise one.

Royal Doulton toilet - Syphonic ?

The above post is from a thread from 2008, but I didn't want to revive the thread. The thread suggested it was probably syphonic, though there was no photo. Would anyone know from the image below if this Royal Doulton toilet is also syphonic?

Metal Wall Cabinet for fuse box/meter

(I'm not an electrician, but) the main fuse box for the house, the meter from which meter readings are taken from and some other plastic box of some description there don't know what it is. Basically just wanted this all tucked in a metal wall box.

Metal Wall Cabinet for fuse box/meter

I'm looking for a metal wall-mounted internal cabinet into which a mains fuse box and meter etc can be placed in order to cover this up. Obviously I'd get an electrician to install; I'm interested in looking at what designs are available first. Would this product potentially be suitable...

Max height for electrical fuse box above floor?

Thank you. What is the name given to the containment box into which a fuse box and the readings meter are fitted? I wanted to look them up to determine the dimensions to see if one would fit in the location I'm considering.

Max height for electrical fuse box above floor?

I know in some older houses the main domestic fuse box can be up near the ceiling, and a chair or small step is required to access it. If I were to get an electrician to move the main electrical fuse box to another room in a house, when positioned in the new location, is there any requirement...

Name of stone atop a pillar?

What is the name commonly used for the concrete "stone" which sits on top of a pillar such as shown. I presume it's going to be something like top stone or cap stone? What do most builders refer to it as? Thanks.

Applying emulsion to unpainted plastered internal wall

Once an internal wall has been plastered and has been allowed a number of months to thoroughly dry, is there anything which should be done to the wall before applying matt emulsion? I have heard of some applying a thinned down coat first, but I don't know if this is a necessary/correct thing to...

Add extra BTU/W for Vertical Radiator v horizontal?

Should an additional percentage be added (everything else being equal), to the calculated heat output required for a room if using a 1800 mm vertical radiator instead of using a horizontal radiator? Thanks.

    Slimline horizontal radiators (not electric)

Would anyone know of any horizontal radiators (excluding electric rads) which have a short projection from the wall of no more than 50 mm? I've searched quite a bit but haven't found anything. I know such rads have existed at some point as the rads where I work have a 50mm projection, though...
