Filling around exterior lights in wall

What would be best to fill the gaps around these recessed rectangular lights in our garden wall? Would Toupret Touprelith F Exterior Masonry Repair Filler work ok? Is there anything easy I can add to get the texture of the existing render?

    Filling bathroom ceiling after refurb

We've just had our bathroom redone and where we removed the old tiles some of the plastered ceiling came off and also where some new lights were put in. Also have have a 15mm gap where the curved ceiling meets some trim as we didn't want to put a thin piece of tile here. Just wondering what is...

    No open soil vent

I don't have drawings, I do have the certificate from BC. The bathroom in question is part of the original house and was not renovated by the previous owner when they extended the house. Yes Section H 1.33 states that an open vent is not always required so I am not sure.

Mira power shower - replace brushes?

Thanks. Surely a shower should last more than 2-3 years though? Yes the brushes are 25mm when new but I was trying to find out at what length they should be replaced. Thanks. I've ordered some brushes just waiting for them to arrive.

Mira power shower - replace brushes?

Hi, My Mira Event power shower pump has been playing up and I am wondering if the brushes need replacing. There is still some of the brush touching the motor but there is probably only a few mm left on it as you cannot see any of it from the other end in the photo. At what point do you know...

Corrosion on dishwasher motor - is it serious?

Hi, Our dishwasher (Indesit DI450 UKC) stopped washing dishes properly and there was a slight burning smell during a wash and after looking inside we could see the heater element was covered in blackened / burnt limescale so we suspected this was the issue. I was planning to replace the heater...

Toilet cistern parts not effected by limescale

Hi there, I have a Macdee concealed toilet cistern that often has issues due to limescale build up as the water in our area is very hard. First the flush syphon got stuck in the up position due to limescale build up and so it no longer flushed and then not long after the entry fill valve also...
