Hi,

I have a Worcester Greenstart Ri bolier and we noticed water is dripping from underneath. On further inspection I can see there is crack in the bend of the condensate pipe.

Really annoying as we only had it serviced a few weeks ago!?

I include some photos below.

I have no experience in plumbing so was wondering how I would go about fixing this?

In the picture below from the manual I assume I need to replace the part labelled A?

Is this a special item particular to this boiler as I can't see it on screwfix and the like?

I found this which seems to be it:

I guess I will have to cut the pipe going into the existing one so will I then need to extend it to be able to attach the new one?

Would I then attach the pipe to the new bend (labelled A in diagram) using solvent cement?

Sorry if these are all stupid questions!

Thanks for any help!

You will need the elbow adaptor "A" , plus some solvent cement . As the angle of the pipe that goes thru the wall appears to be putting the elbow under stress ,then introduce the fitting Gasguru advised to alleviate the strain.
