Accept a new PCB, but is the checking of combustion settings overkill ? Or would a new PCB really affect the firing ? Starting to sound very expensive

I have a Alpha entec 28x with an E37 fault code, but is intermittent, would this mean that it could be something other than a transformer PCB replacement ? Also can an electrician or other competent person replace this ? Or would it need a gas safe person ? thanks

Hi going to do a factory reset, Valliant think this would be a good first step... going back, briefly to my idea for the programmer mod..... if I use a two way switch, disconnect the cable to the supply terminal of the HW and route that to a switch input..the output would go to the HW supply...

Thanks, but without a flow meter, it’s difficult to determine ? Valiant suggest I do a factory restore, do you think this will do any harm ?
