    Breathing in dust, asbestos etc

Anyway, whatever the stats- asbestos, hardwood, silicosis kill. Will the ffp 3 mask help a lot? I definitely don't think they're 100% but I guess even if a bit of dust still gets in they must reduce contact with this dust and that's got to be good. Any advice on masks or dealing with these...

    Decent tape measure and spirit?

The guy at Screwfix said these two in a pack were popular. Only £10. The really wide fatmax ones were £24. Did I make the right choice. Also, always been curious, when people bend the tape when for example measuring te height of a door. Where on that bend do they read the exact measurement?

Having heavy bags on front lawn

Dont want to ruin the front lawn with a ton of weight on front grass. They will drop off the sand and cement in ton bags. Is it best to put down some ply or scaffold planks first? The concrete path is being laid in the back garden so the cement and sand will be wheelbarrowed around on...

    Woodland clearance and tidy up

What about one or two small branches some dead taken off with loppers or small saw off small tree like rhodendron? No common sense with council people. Surely they don't photo every small tree and would be able to prove who cut a few small branches I guess the tpo trees would be the bigger...

    Decent tape measure and spirit?

Are fatmax measures the best? They seem to bend nicer than the thinner ones. With spirit level you, worth getting a four foot as well as my two footer?

    Getting tiles off

I guess it's hard to get old tiles off without taking the plaster off and consequently having to replaster. I used a mask most of time but still had bloody snot and a cough all day today. Used a filter mask

    Getting tiles off

Been using my sds drill on hammer setting. Worry that after drilling in the. N levering the tiles off will damage the chuck. There was no chance saving the plaster in this bathroom. Was trying to drill in or hammer a bolster in from side, I guess that's the best way?

    Replacing blown glass

Want to replace some blown windows so have been practicing on some old ones from the dump. I hammered into the grooves with a sharp scrapper thing and eventually got the glass out. Chipped the pvc a bit and it wasn't easy. The rubber seal came out too and I couldn't put that back properly...
