Thanks for your replies....Im new at this CCTV stuff, so I could have one cable from the DVR that goes into the loft and devide that cable in to 6 or 8 cables to go to the CCTV cameras?

Ive got my lounge gutted at the moment and about to chisel out for back boxes......and Im completely lost on what wall plates to use to fit:- TV Arial(Freeview) x 1 FreeSat cables x 2 Ethernet cable(for Firestick) CCTV cables x 6 Many thanks for any help...

Just knocked the plaster off to a height of 5 foot from the floor....and cant see anything apart from normal rows of bricks :-(

We have live in our house for 20 years...and lucky enough to have the deeds....the garden is approx. 120 foot long....a lovely old chap lived next door(to the left looking at the house). It had a 6 foot fence between us that had seen better days....we knew(thought) the other fence was ours but...

Hope you can help me, Ive removed an old gas fire and Tiled(glazed) fire place that was probably fitted in the 50/60s? I am left with this as in the photos...its looks like someone has thrown odd bits of brick and mortar into the fireplace opening...… Can I remove all these bricks up to the red...

Ferroli Optima 1001 Heating works fine on 'timed' and manual. But when you turn a hot water tap on, the boiler is switching on and off all the time. Any ideas? many thanks...

I'm gutting my living room - removed skirting and Coving..my question is do I remove this radiator and fit and new one?....Ive lived in here 20 years and it was fitted long before that....A new one would be more efficient but is there any other reason to fit a new one?

Cheers....I am decorating my longue so adding a couple of double sockets to an existing ring circuit.....the sockets that are already here are about 12" from the floor......Ive looked on the internet and it mentions 450mm(18") from the floor for 'new builds'.....

Is there a regulation for the height from the floor for Electrical Sockets? Its a 1950 Bungalow... Cheers...

The tap water(hot) has gone very hot and cannot be adjusted cooler...any help appreciated.
