Try B&Q before you buy a rothenberger, they sell Benzomatic torches which are made by rothy, & about £20 cheaper.

Rothenberger sell 2 different ones (confusing), and it’ll probably be the one with 3 box spanners in it. As long as you now have the correct one.

Rothenberg do a gel in a spray bottle that stops heat traveling up the pipe. I guess it absorbs the heat. Comes in handy sometimes too.
