    Does anyone know how much inhibitor can be added to a Worcester greenstar system filter? the cylinder ones not the original ball shaped one ... the manual doesn't seem to mention the capacity at all

    Thats what I thought hopefully a bit of wd40 will budge it .....so is it a case of filling and draining a few times then adding inhibitor on final fill?

    This is the drain cock (i think) its about 3" (at best) below the level of the valves on the lowest rad in the house .... house is nearly 300 yrs old and I suspect this hasn't been touched since then ....

    Cheers for that, x400 it is then. What diameter of hose will I need to drain down from a standard radiator drain cock? (I need about 5 meters in length). Tried looking for drain down hose but £30 plus for a one off is a bit rich for my blood .... also something see through would be better for me ...

    Have bought an IP45 rated bathroom fan to replace a non compliant one in bathroom The electrician I got in to fit it says its not up to to code and needs to be a SELV one . Have the reg's changed again coz I thought it was fine as long as on a 30ma RCD as well, and I have RCBO's on all circuits...
