I have a ADT bell box and Honeywell G3 Alarm. The way it is wired up at the mo works kind if ok. If I go into the test test option and test bell it's works ok but also the strobe comes on and it sounds a bit like the bell is dying! But if I test the strobe nothing happens. Any idea's?

Nope I couldn't get it to work, so I'm upgrading my panel to G3-48 don't think my g2 supports the prox. Just having trouble understanding how I wire my current bell box to my new panel (G3-48) any idea's lol?? Ta

Ok done, did you get my email alarm man? Can you look and the manual you sent me and look at the pcb diogram and tell me where each cable from the bell goes? Thanks mate

Where us connection 1001 and 1002 is it where it's marked rio 0, also says relay output, or is it where it says rio 1, then it says 1 2 3 4, to the left of those it's marked +12v just a bit confused, thanks

Just to make it clear I have just brought a Honeywell G3-48c my old panel is a G2-12. How do I connect the current bell box, (5 cables) to my new G3-48 panel? What do you mean made in China lol, they are good panels :-)

Just brought a new panel, but where do i connect the outdoor bell box? at the moment it has 5 wires connected to the G2-12 pannel. Thanks :)

Well it's connected, but when I go In to settings on the max on the keypa options 63.2 it says no device present. But If I disable max mode, the very bottom light on the max flashes, guessing it means max mode is disabled. So it must be communicating with the panel, could it be the resistor on...

Wired it up just as you said. Take it that 0v is the black negative? There is just a red led on the max 3 reader, 3rd led down, a box with a cross through, I can't get the panel to pick up the max reader, it says no devices present :-( why is it saying that? Thanks for your help!

keypad was already on addy 2 :/ keeps saying max alarm resest required but it wont let me reset, what does 'max alrm' zn:00 24 hour'' mean? thanks

Oh right so i dont need the supresser, Im confused as itwont pick it up, but it will set the alarm off and it says MAX ALARM 0. why wont it pick it up when it searches for it :( I really want it to work on 'online mode' Any Idea's? Thanks!!!

Hi, we have 3 keypads that are wired on to the system but the prox reader, (max 3 reader) don't allow you manually select the address. Do I need a relay or mag lock? Thanks

HI All, I got a max 3 reader a few months back and not got round to wiring it up to my Galaxy G2-12, I have read the intructions and its rattling my brain! I kind of understand the A B connections and the + & - but when connected to my alarm it cant pick it up when I search for it on menu...

Thanks! Sorted! Another problem has popped up :( I can set the alarm fine, got the kitchen Pir set the 'exit' and the door set to final, the system sets, bleeps twice to confirm, but when I walk in the house the entry noise starts and when I put my code in it just says 'status set' And wont...

I have installed 2 keypads. both cables from the keypad go straight to the alan panel and connect to A and B and - and +. both keypads have a 680 resistor going accross the A and B terminal. one is adressed to 0 and the other is one. I really can't inderstand why? :( thank you. :(

Thanks for your help!! shouldn't I use the red cable for the 12v+? what do you reccomend colouring code wise, I thought back and red for power and blue and white for alarm/ tamper. How do i connect it up on the pannel? if your could do a diogram it would be very very helpful !! Im guessing pir...
