Fixing this window frame and sill.

I mixed up some mortar yesterday and tried my best to make a base for a window board. Found out the middle of the wall has a low spot, so need to get that level later. I think it came out ok, once i bond and skim the walk hopefully it will be all come together.

    Hidden pipe radiator.

I've seen this product, do you think this would work. Could the pipes come up from the bottom and into cavity then out of this connector?

    Tap keeps flowing back!

Got this installed along with new bathroom last year. The tap is a nightmare, if the flow is slow it runs back on itself, soaking the vanity unit. Is it just this type if tap or can i adjust the angle to stop it flowing back?

Fixing this window frame and sill.

I removed the window trim and sill during decorating, we had a major draft coming through. All around the window was just gaps, no proper insulation. So a lot of wall and sill just crumbled away. What is best method to fix? I expanded foam around the window with low expansion foam. Was...

    Hidden pipe radiator.

We are replacing our radiator, we want the pipes to come out the wall and not floor. Can you run flexible pipe up into partition and have it come out behind the radiator for a clean pipe free look?

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

Ok. So I've drawn a diagram of how I think/hope it's wired . I'm going to cut the hole for the socket half way between the switches in the kitchen on opposite wall at the bottom. Hopefully I will find the ring circuit and enough free cable to fit a new socket. If it doesn't work out at...

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

Thanks for all the information and help. Yeah I did wonder about that socket. The house was flooded 3 years ago and the full bottom floor got replaced. So I would have thought the whole place would have been fitted new but as I go to different areas I find shortcuts . Again thanks.

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

All downstairs socket are on same circuit breaker. It's a B32. So when you daisy chain from washing machine socket, you mean from the socket under cabinets that the WM is plugged into? Meaning the isolation switch would have to be on whenever we wanting to use the floor lamp.

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

Ok so had a look and the kitchen sockets are connected and also have their own feed. I checked below and can see cable feeding into the switch for washing machine that is connected to the isolation switch. There is also insulation in the cavity wall.

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

Thanks for info. Today I'm going check behind the socket in kitchen and see if I can drop a cable down through the cavity. I will also have a look at the bottom of wall as I would think the cable feeding the kitchen socket will feed in from the floor.

Add an extra socket in stud wall?

Hi. So the OH just bought a new floor lamp and has decided the best place for it is where there is no socket. Nearest socket is through the wall in kitchen. I was hoping I could possibly drop a cable down gap in stud wall for new socket. But I'm sure there is a noggin in the way.
