Indeed I found several rule of thumb kind of examples all of which give different ways and different end results hence why I came here to try and find out which is best to use.

I'm looking to replace a few radiators but want to make sure that I get the correct sized radiators. I've looked at various sites all giving me a different way to calculate the BTU all giving different answers. Can any one out there give me a formula which they believe to be correct?

Is anyone able to supply a link or a copy of the Installation and Owners Manuals for this boiler? I've had a look on the main Potterton site but they don't have this boilers listed I've also called customer services all they can do is post one out to me

Well got it all sorted in the end, decided to cut the link and put a new connector on. It seems to work with 1 and 3 connected. Thank you for your help, just need to decide where to put the thing now.

Well it all seems so simple if only you could undo the dam screws to remove the link from the voltage free heating control plug and connect the other wires! :twisted:

Thanks for that seems I guessed wrong with 1 and 2, am doing the testing b4 running cable round house as not yet decided where to put it, have 10M of cable and not a very big house so can run it round each room and see which is the best, might even trade up to the RF3 but not sure I can justify...

Okey dokey thanks for that, after reading through a couple of others I came up with 1 and 2..... Guessing it won't matter which wire goes where as it is just acting as a switch. Will try 1 and 3.
