I'm looking to replace a few radiators but want to make sure that I get the correct sized radiators. I've looked at various sites all giving me a different way to calculate the BTU all giving different answers. Can any one out there give me a formula which they believe to be correct?

Time taken to get hot water

I've just moved in to a new property where I have a fairly newly (last 2- 3 years) installed Worcester 28CDi boiler. The problem I'm having is the time it takes to get hot water to any of the taps in the house. In the kitchen which I think is the furthest point from the boiler takes between...

Well it all seems so simple if only you could undo the dam screws to remove the link from the voltage free heating control plug and connect the other wires!

    After Draining CH System

Having a bit of a blonde moment..... Last weekend I drained my system and refilled with some Fernox Restorer which I left pumping round for a few days. I have now drained the system again and it says to keep flushing until the water runs clear. Here is my question do they mean to run clear...

    Draining and Filling System

Having decided that Power Flushing my new system is going to be an expensive option I am going down the route of draining and cleaning the system myself. I simply have a combi boiler and no tanks, to drain the system is it as easy as undoing the draining valve I have outside the house and...
