Hi I've just changed the resistor on my polo as the fan wasn't working. Everything now is working but I'm getting an odour of burning from the air vents . Could this be just because its new or is it more likely the resistor is faulty?

Just thinking would the bypass be a potential cause of the op problem ?

I changed everything except the bypass end , it wasn't too bad of a job

Hi I have a radiator under a piece of my kitchen worktop . I can't bleed it because the bleed screw is on the end I can't get at . Is it possible to make this end into a bleed screw ? I'll post a picture Thanks

I changed it the bits because it was leaking from the castle looking nut , it doesn't leak now . It just makes a momentary squeek when I turn on the hot water ( the squeek developed a couple of months after I changed the bits )
