How to make a flood light strobe?

Or borrow a dog and let it out to bark like crazy haha. On a more serious note, a photocell connected up and mounted underneath the floodlight would make it switch on and off, or maybe, if there is such a thing (I haven't looked but probably will haha!) a strobe suitable for outdoor use could...

I am having a discussion with a friend and we were just thinking, can you install ring final circuits, and do they still work in the same way as they did when they first started being used? My friend thinks that they're not allowed under the latest regs. What do the latest regs say??

    SQUIRELLS HAVE EATEN CABLES!

good idea, also there wouldn't be any harm in the OP taking photos as well and sending them to the comittee, as has been said on this topic, a photo or two is more or less guaranteed to bring their attention to the problem.

    Why why why....

I didn't mean any offence to anyone with what I said It's just that, while being a very knowledgable person, he can say what he needs to say without being rude, which he does have a tendency to be rude sometimes when there's absolutely no need for it. I will say however, that I do agree with...

    Small chest freezer.

I think people are saying that 10 amps is the starting current of the compressor, 150 watts being the running current after the initial surge to start. Stuart

    blown light circuit

I will stress that I AM NOT AN ELECTRICIAN but you could try checking the fuse with a multimeter, sometimes you can't see whether the wire has broken, also if you have another fuse in the fuse box of the same rating you could try swapping them temporarily, then you'll know if the original fuse...

    Electrical problems in school

That is a good idea IMO, you'd find out then, first use the trick that was suggeasted earlier in this thread though, plug i8n a cheap mechanical timer, then read off what time it tripped before you reset the breaker, then go in at that time the next day. Hope this helps.

    Electrical problems in school

Also I have just thought that the computers could be set to turn on automatically after a power failure, although I woul;dn't have thought it was very likely that there would be a complete power failure every day.
