    Thank you. When I use the man When I put it to water heating only then and turn it off then it will not heat water for the central heating when I demand that later. I then have to move the switch on the valve to enable the central heating. I very rarely demand both CH and HW together.

    Thank you. I did use wood preserve that the previous owners of our house left behind. I got some Cuprinol decking paint from B&M in a deal and applied that on top. We are really pleased with the finish.
