Vokera Linea 28 Combi room thermostate

With a wireless thermostat all you need to do is wire in a control box to the boiler, then the sender(thermostst) can go anywhere in the house, this is usually battery operated

Vokera Linea 28 Combi room thermostate

Its a good idea to fit a room stat, I would fit an RF stat (wireless) this will keep disruption to almost zero, however I would recommend getting a good electrician or plumber with relevant quals (part p) to install if you have no knowledge of electrics, they are not difficult to install but...

    Rusty Rads

Do you mean they are rusting on the outside? if this is where the valve enters the radiator then they could have been leaking for some time, this would lead to the rusting, you may be able repair by removing the valves and refitting with new PTFE tape, but it depends on the amount of corrosion...

New central heating - gurgling & running water noises

I think if the pipe T'd in to the flow (the one above the white box) leading to the pump is a smaller size then it is the cold feed, in which case it begs the question "Where is the vent"????, you need to follow the pipes into the lost and find out how and where they are arranged, then if poss...

Amptec 12kw boiler melted incoming cables

Ok, you really need to get a good spark there, by taking the MCB out of the loop you now have NO overcurrent protection, if the MCB was tripping it was for a reason, either to protect the circuit or because it had a fault, I really really urge you to turn it off and get it proffesionaly checked...

Amptec 12kw boiler melted incoming cables

Do you know the ampage and short circuit rating of the RCD, also is it just an RCD or an RCBO (Combined RCD and MCB)? because an RCD does no actually protect overcurrent situations.

Amptec 12kw boiler melted incoming cables

You really need good quality connectors, remember 12kw on a typical 230 volt supply can pull over 50amps of current, most connectors found in diy or most retailers are 45 amp MAX. make sure all connections are rated at over 50 amps or you will always have trouble.

    boiler pressure fault

It could well be a blockage as Mikyg said, it would most deffinatly be where the expanssion vessel is connected to the pipe leading to the system, drain the boiler crack open the nut on vessel and check there, usually blocked with crud, if its not then yes you may have a split diagphram in the...

    mainsfed heating system

Yes Mikyg is right, the Glowworm boasts being able to deliver around 170lts of hot water before switching to full combi (instant) mode, this is done due to its thermal store, so you should find that even on an excellent flow rate it will satisfy most peoples needs, however as already stated...
