    Kitchen Drain

Can someone give me some guidance on which drain should be installed externally ? I am sure the wrong drain has been fitted prior to us buying this house. We get really strong sewage smells coming from it, so I am thinking that it has either been fitted wrongly or it is the wrong type. I am also...

    Stripping paint

Lots of people think the thicker the gloss "Dulux for example" the better, Wrong, if it is too thick you get dragging leaving a horrid finish. I thin my paint slightly and get a perfect finish every time.

    PIR Security Lights

I bought 3 lights from screwfix, one of which I wired up to the wiring of a light that was there previously, which works fine. The other 2 I have linked together and run them through bedroom wall by way of a plug going into a socket. The first one of the 2 linked stays on constant - is there...

    Pir Security lights

I have just taken down an old security light that was here when we moved in. It was a switched light but if you tried switching it on or off it would trip the electrics. I noticed they had a terminal block inside the light which had the 3 lives, 3 neutrals and 3 earths together. My thinking is...
