I bought 3 lights from screwfix, one of which I wired up to the wiring of a light that was there previously, which works fine. The other 2 I have linked together and run them through bedroom wall by way of a plug going into a socket.
The first one of the 2 linked stays on constant - is there something I am missing ?
There are no settings or timers on the product so I know it is not that.
I only just realised when looking for a solution that I have wired them up via a twin flex cable with no earth wire, even though both lights have earth wires fixed to them, I have just put the earth wires into waco's.
Not having the earth wire to the plug, would this cause the light to remain on constant, or is it just a faulty lamp ??

Just put a different light in place of the one that was staying on and it is working fine. Just a faulty PIR then......

If the lights have metal cases, their 'earth wires' must be earthed - so it is not safe to wire them with two-core flex.

Sorry guys was a bit late replying, here is the item in question. Yes I agree very unusual not to have an adjustment on it, and decided to wire it up with earth. With hindsight a bit stupid not to, just thought very unusual to even have an earth on LED lights, never had one on any I fitted previous that I can recall.

It depends upon the construction. If it is metal-cased and not 'double insulated' ('Class II') inside, then that metal case must be earthed.
