    Shower Pump but no loft

I can confirm it is an unvented system with the cylinder on the middle floor. Is there any reason the builder cannot fit a thermostatically controlled shower on the top floor? Perhaps my question wasn't very well presented, sorry

    Shower Pump but no loft

Thanks, but the reason they were given for it being an electric shower was because there is no loft. The Cylinder is on the floor below the en suite

    Low voltage fairy lights.

Sorry if this has already been answered. I have a set of string fairy lights that the cable needs extending, I could use an ordinary extension lead but it would be neater if I could cut into the existing cable and add an extension. The rated power is 31v- , 50hz. 8.4W. Would it be ok to use bell...

    Hive

I am not saying I have a gravity fed system, I accept that it is Y plan! BUT, Hive tech support have told me that with my Y plan if I put the receiver into gravity fed mode it will allow me to control my ch and hw separately. Thats all.

    Hive

Thanks but I was still told that the Hive could operate hw and ch separately by the Hive tech support by putting the receiver into gravity fed mode. Are they wrong?

    Hive

We have an Oso system in the loft, with a header tank for the heating.

    Hive

I have searched on here but cannot find an answer. My house was built 30 years ago and in that time I have never been able to run my c/h without the hot water being on. I have hive for about 3 years and all is good. I recently found out that if I switched the receiver to gravity fed mode, blue...

    Upside down 3 pin plug?

The socket was fitted before we had the place. My son has a radio with top fitting plug as described earlier which fits a treat. But we don't want to buy a new radio. Thanks everyone

    Upside down 3 pin plug?

Thanks, but this would bring the radio too far from the wall

    Upside down 3 pin plug?

Pretty spot on. Its a kitchen work surface, just below a window, with just enough room for a double socket, which was fitted without taking space into consideration. Its an ideal place to have the radio.
