I am firinfi a warm flat roof with the 100mm insulation sandwiched by ply/osb. Can anyone tell me what the ratio of fixings is eg per square metres, of fixings including distance from the edge etc? Also as the depth amounts to 136 mm (boards 18 mm each), will 140mm fixings be enough?

I have a Baxi condenser combi less than a year old. For a while now there has been a high pitched whine when in heating mode. The noise goes away when running hot water but returns as soon as tap turned off. Also it's not as bad when all radiators are fully open. Can anyone help,advise?

I plan to remove a chimney breast from a bedroom. The breast above it in the loft has what looks like a 4 inch grey slab just above the loft floor level. Is this a pad stone and does it mean that it will support the chimney stack above it so that I can remove the breast below it?
