What compression fitting for 15mm copper pipe to 3/8 microbore ?

#\\\\\#### I measured the pipe and its 9.53mm so 3/8. near .5mm small than the 10mm i have. Measured up th original pipe OD 9.52mm and new ( 10mm ) 9.99mm. 3/8 is 9.53mm. so the original must be imperial size.

    Suspended concrete floor load capacity?

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes it is a party wall. So you are saying that the three walls/footing the walls go down to will not take the extra weight. Infact the tank will be sat on all four walls footings, the wall under the kitchen in th epics where the beams are is not the lower party wall but...

I was thinking the best support on the floor for...

    Suspended concrete floor load capacity?

I was wondering the thoughts on if a suspended concrete floor in a 50 year old Ex council house would take the weight of a water tank sat as in the pathetic pic i have drawn below, it will weigh around 2500kg, so around 1 1/2 pallet of bricks, sat right up to the three walls. the footing go down...

Using angle grinder to remove a porch post metal shoe query

Both discs will do the job, the thinner will just be less on producing sparks and cut cooler but wear quicker, and if not to steady with the hand can shatter easier, so IMO use the thicker ones, aslong as you can get all around the pipe you will be fine, dont force the disc in, let the disc do...

    GRP roofing

never heard of that way to laminate, i could be wrong though, if you add enough resin to the base, then matt then roll in more resin that should do, not to let dry then add more resin, unless your late and the first lot sets then you need to add more matt. Dont sound right but if it works and...

    GRP roofing

Hi that sounds ok but i will be using this way as they show here http://www.glasplies.co.uk/Roofing-Information-s/1873.htm i think it would depend on what topcoat he used. aslong as he gave a coat of resin onto the OSB before he laid the fibreglass, if not it will not bind to the OSB...

Shocked at Building Reg charges, does this sound right ?

sorry about that, i am useless at saying what i mean when typing, try to make it short as otherwise it will be a very long winded message, folk dont often like to read to much. So if i keep the external dividing door then i can build it with just PP and no BR will need to be involved, but...

Shocked at Building Reg charges, does this sound right ?

The £1100 to build it is for the materials to extend the con`y and fit a flat roof, unlikley to building regs though as i have been reading and they are in a word `costly` to be done there way. I am just now starting tp look into what the regs are and what needs to be done and materials used...

    Extension/aquarium

Hi all, after years of wanting a decent size fish tank and running out of paces in the house due the size and weight of them i have decided to convert the con`y i built about 3 years ago into an extension and extend the cony/extension in to the workshop i built onto the back of the house, i am...
