    Internal wall insulation fixings.

Thank you, I don't need to secure the panels, the battens will hold them. I need to secure the battens through the panels onto the wall. Can't use adhesive foam as the boards have foil on both sides.

    Internal wall insulation fixings.

I have a brick wall with plaster. I have kingspan type boards with vapour barrier on both sides. I want to put this directly on the wall, battens on the surface then plasterboard. I need to screw through the battens and insulation to the brick. This is to make the battens ridged for the...

No lights at all on Ferroli Modena 80E boiler :(

You had the opportunity to help and show you know something, with the OP or my question about the same equipment with the same faults, you chose not to. When I can help someone I will, when I can't I don't waste their time, that's my attitude. Your choice, expect thanks for knowing something...

No lights at all on Ferroli Modena 80E boiler :(

That's a useless reply. I'm sorry your upset about me looking for help here. My problem has identical problems to the original post, on the same equipment, it's not different. So far it's the same problem. I asked the original poster for help based on if they resolved their problem, it would...

No lights at all on Ferroli Modena 80E boiler :(

While you were answering, thank you for that, I was checking that. See pictures on original post. Yes, the small 3A onboard fuse has gone. When I replaced it I am getting the right hand side power/pressure light on green. No response to on/off or reset. There is no water from hot tap. If...

No lights at all on Ferroli Modena 80E boiler :(

It's a long time but I have what appears to be the same problem with the same boiler. It was working, now no lights showing. The clock appears briefly when I cycle the power. No water flowing from hit taps. Check power supply and there is electricity. Did you resolve your problem? Any diagnosis?

    New bathroom floor opinions.

To add some more detail. This is a family members house and an insurance replacement of a toilet floor which was previously tiled for about 20 years without issue. There was a burst pipe that required the good floor to be lifted. The repaire floor level, approxiates the original by observing...

    New bathroom floor opinions.

Thanks for the reply. This is my concern, the tiles are not cracked but the grout it. Not easily visible to naked eye, hence close up. I could not detect any visible movement by stepping on floor, which would be extreme. I was wonderdering if flexible grout could solve the cracking issue or...

    New bathroom floor opinions.

New tiles on bathroom floor, a couple of days old. The floor tiles are not perfectly level but very close. I've noticed the grout is several mm below tile level, between tiles and at some wall area. It is deeply ressessed where the wall and floor tiles meet and missing behind soil pipe. Also...

    Possible HOB swap.

I currently have a cooker socket on a dedicated 6mm cable from a 32a MCB. A 2.8kw oven plugs into this and a 5.8kw ceramic home is wired in from a 6mm cable. We want to keep the oven but change the hob. We are thinking of putting in an induction one which is rated at 7kw. Is this possible or...

    Electric towel rail control

I'm asking for experienced advice, didn't think it needed spelled out in detail. Not sure how specifying the current would help, it will be off a 13amp fused switch either incorporated into the controller or preceding the controller. Power wise, the timer shown will support up to 3kw, which is...

    Electric towel rail control

Of course I have search for one, hence links above. I have not found one that is suitable. Additionally one that sends a control signal is of no use. It has to carry a power suitable for Towel Rail element. If you can suggest a particular "Programmable thermostat" that would be great.

    Electric towel rail control

I can find a controller that allows different temperature settings e.g. Heating Element Controller TCP200 https://www.toolstation.com/heating-element-controller/p52631 And one that sets time e.g. https://www.lighthubdirect.com/products/7-day-3kw-electronic-fused-timer-spur-switch-with-boost...
