I know it may be a common question..... (Hive)

I'm wiring a Hive to a Logic Combi ESP1 35, the existing thermostat is wired to an undesirable location for the transmitter for the Hive so I plan to remove and blank it off, and then unwire the thermostat at the boiler end and wire in the Hive thermostat transmitter local to the boiler. I've...

Issues with Hive and Worcester 37CDi

Update, I found if I set the old thermostat to fire up the boiler then I can turn the boiler on and off via the hive thermostat, do you have to set that so it causes the boiler to turn on permanently and then put it away in the cupboard?

Honeywell ST6400C & Drayton Digistat SCR Confusion.....

Ok so if I get the Honeywell CM927 are they just simple to wire in place of the drayton one? So on the existing Honeywell I'd just use the water and leave the heating sliders to off and then all the heating programming I do on the new Honeywell? or should I leave the old honeywell heating...

Honeywell ST6400C & Drayton Digistat SCR Confusion.....

Hi all, I've recently bought a house and am doing as much work as possible myself. One thing that is confusing me is the thermostat side of the heating. We have a large Megaflo tank and a Potterton Suprima HE, now connected to these we have a "Drayton Digistat SCR" reciever on the wall by the...

    New home, loft questions

Thanks for your reply. I have looked in the cupboards but can just see boarding on the floor so will have to pull them up and look underneath. If there are steel supports under the purlins, with the roof beams that are visible, do you think this would be structually sound? Does there not have...
