    Polycell 'BaseCoat for Walls'

i thought i was quite good, it only hide the hairline cracks and some dints etc but i think the main advantage with this paint is that it is flexible. Which is what we needed in an old house that swells and contracts through the different seasons. The paint seems to stretch with it, very pleased...

    Dodgy Electrics

Yeah pretty scary, i think i've been pretty much everywhere in the house now. Fingers crossed no more horror's lined up waiting for me. What do you think could of happened if it was left like that? melted through in a few month? and possibly a fire? At the moment we've got an antique...

Kitchen floor Calcs - Thickness of tiles, adhesive, etc

Cheers, Yeah the hardcore and the sand is already down. So maybe instead of having 145mm of concrete possibly put in 40-50mm of polystrene insulation on top of the DPM then pour the 100mm of concrete on top?

Kitchen floor Calcs - Thickness of tiles, adhesive, etc

I think i just need to know what the average depth of the tile adhesive is once its set? As i'm trying to calculate how much concrete i need. This is what i've figured out so far and i've already layed the sand. ---------------------------------------- Tiles 10mm...
