You could be right...but it was hard to get conclusive evidence. In the end, given our own risk and the fact that a claim would cause our policies to cost more we never even claimed for the damage. I wish I was in the insurance business...but too late now :-(

I've looked at Intergas...they seem to be petty good and I have some respect for Dutch manufacturers.....so right now it is between Intergas and Navien for a wall-mounted gas boiler. Thanks for all the advice so far George

He obviously has something else in mind. Just today he told me of someone in our region (Cambridgeshire) who had their gas pipe installation from an electricity company from up North (somewhere).....saving a lot of money. I feel that Cadent makes sense but if there are benefits to this "open"...

What do you think of doing what you said but staining the wood before varnishing? The varnish on there now, when it gets chipped, is showing much lighter than the rest.. so makes it very clear that is chipped!

Hi, Pyronix will sell you a replacement membrane for the keypad for a fiver! However, I have no idea how to open the RKP.. can anyone advise. If thsi works it will save a LOAD of money as the entire system might be replaced otherwise George

Hi, If the problem is just dodgy contacts, Pyronix will sell you a replacement keypad membrane for £5! Take out the old keys sheet of rubber and replace. With a bit of cleaning you should be back to new. Now, I have one of these new membranes, but can anyone advise on how to open the keypad...
