Triton t80z shower annoying leak can it be fixed

Yeah there's an o ring but it isn't sealing I've checked the o ring condition and it's fine. Like I say I've re positioned it a number of times and still no luck. I'll give the switch replacement a go and then if that fails replace the shower. Regards Grant Gibson

Triton t80z shower annoying leak can it be fixed

Hello all, About 1 year ago I started noticing a dripping leak from the shower unit. After investigation I determined it was not the prd but the seal between the heating can and the pressure isolation switch. At the time I decided against stripping the shower down and put some superglue on the...

Salus IT500-BM and Worcester 28i junior

This issue has now been resolved. Salus came out to the property and fitted a replacement integrated WBC controller - same problem the boiler would randomly fire up although the flame wouldn't come on. He resorted to fitting an external controller to the boiler which has fixed the issue...

Salus IT500-BM and Worcester 28i junior

I have just had a Worcester boiler installed with a salus Internet thermostat. The controller on the boiler is definitely set to auto which means it should follow the thermostat settings. Basically on my old system when the temp was lower than the set point the boiler wouldn't fire and rads...

Please Help Me With TapsUK Issue

No they had enough slack for a swan neck, not the world's biggest swan neck but there wasn't any bending or force on the braided hoses. I'm just in a difficult position here because the tap was supplied with minimal instructions and all I want really is a refund from the company at the end of...

Please Help Me With TapsUK Issue

Also the pipes leading to the braided hoses are clamped to the wall with plastic pipe clips. The braided hoses which are approximately 12inches long then go from my back wall up to the tap. Unless I build a metal block to hold the braided hoses in place on the underside of the worktop then I...

Please Help Me With TapsUK Issue

Under the Sales of Goods Act products must be fit for purpose and durable up to 6 years from purchase. I'm struggling to understand how a stainless steel braided hose has moved that much in 2 years to cause rubbing to the extent it has. I do buy into the long term leak but I personally think...

Combi Boiler pressure drop - keep having to top up

The boiler is housed in a cupboard in the kitchen ... what would I have to do, take the fan flue assembly off ? The back plate of the boiler can't be removed and so whilst you might be able to access the valve on a boiler installed in a utility room I don't know if this is going to be the case...

Combi Boiler pressure drop - keep having to top up

The boiler is a Swiftflow 100 and as such the only way to get to the expansion vessel is by removing the entire boiler from the wall. This seems completely stupid to me but I don't think there is much I can do is there ? Grant

Combi Boiler pressure drop - keep having to top up

I went round the radiators yesterday and the upstairs bathroom bleed cap was ever so slightly not fully tight so I tightened it to the max and the system now appears stable at around 1 bar when cool and goes up to around 3.5 bar when running. Is this too much still ? I haven't had chance to look...

Combi Boiler pressure drop - keep having to top up

This seems to have co-incided with me bleeding a radiator upstairs around 1 week ago ? I have got a Gloworm Combi boiler and noticed the other day that the pressure had dropped to around 0.5 bar. So I went to top it up and the person who installed the boiler fitted a blue plastic in line...
