Cos door casings are planed wood and planed is always undersize. Quoting the nominal un planed size. The theory is that planing can remove different depths, so a nominal size is quoted. But in real life the machine just takes off a set amount, so it's big Con. Kev

I don't think it is an internal overflow now.... Not sure if I have any options here. Annoyed my builder has ignored this issue.....

Now I look it again I think the flush may be a vent not a overflow it looks too small. Will get a pic up. Kev

B, yep that's the plan. Laminate now fitted. I've got some detail work to do in other room so will make up the beading then. Slim L profile seems unobtrusive.
