    Replacing this -

What’s the best way to drain a system like this? Is it a case of tying up the ballcock in the loft and then opening the lowest radiator?

    Replacing this -

It’s a constant stream mate - is there a way I can stop it? I thought maybe it would stop but I’ve drained at least 2 pints off it, without it slowing at all.

    Replacing this -

Would be simple if the stupid valves worked - they’re still letting a small amount of water through. Which leads me to ask, how do I drain the system? Not done one before.

Hi all I suspect that this pump is broken, when I turn the power supply on it is buzzing and becoming very hot to touch. How do I replace this, assuming the part, or substitute, is still available?

    Replacing tap tails

Because I took end of the ribbed pipe out and tried to remove the old olives, the pipe wasn’t in good condition so I tried to cut them back but the damn pipe cutter crushed the pipe and has left me with not enough pipe to work with. I thought I’d I could get the old ribbed pipes off I could...

    Replacing tap tails

Hi all I need to replace the funny ribbed pipes coming from the tap tails as the ends going into the iso valves are leaking. Is it easy to remove the copper push fit joints and replace with new ones? And then replace the ribbed pipes back to the iso valves?

    Leaking waste

Hi all I’ve recently taken out and refitted a kitchen and this pipe is leaking from somewhere I didn’t expect, the bottom side where it connects to the pipe coming out from the ground - see below. What do I need to do to fix this, how do I take it apart and what seals it? Thanks

How about glow worm / valiant - I can get a discount there, but would sooner pay more to get a better product if needs be.

Any suggestions on a replacement boiler, I think this one is inefficient as I only have 5 rads and it can exceed £10 just for an evening If it’s a gasket I’ll fix it but I don’t see the point in chucking £400 plus fitting on it.

I’ll leave it off. Is it worth repairing? It’s getting on a bit now
