The sides get quite hot then it reverts to being cool. Is this normal please. There are no "fins" at the back like older fridges. Jim

Oh dear ! The problem is now that the water heating will not work unless the central heating is on. This combi should allow use of the water heating on its own. I conclude therefore that its not the shower that is the problem. Any ideas please as to what the problem might be with the Ideal C24 ...

Aqualisa quartz digital is not an electric shower. The boiler is a combi and the "box" is set to combi. The hot water system seems ok so logically it seems it must be the processing gubbins in the control unit. Am getting Aqualisa to come and look into this problem. Thanks Jim

I bought one of these and it had two washers supplied. Cannot figure out why it would need a rubber washer in the hose end that screws onto the device. Has anyone fitted one of these please and does it really need two washers. Jim

Hello again You mentioned a Pipe Stat costing about £15. I keep getting quotes around £30. As the present frost stat is honeywell, do I have to get a Honeywell Pipe Stat to ensure compatibility ? Or is here something as good but cheaper ? Jim
