Your old Swift flow is actually a fairly simple combi, and very reliable with good hot water production so unless age is causing expense or breakdowns I would not be looking to replace it !
We fit Remeha Avanta Combi's and have had very little trouble or complaints about them
We have also fitted a fair number of Vailants when requested with again no real problems.
So there are two names for you!
Thanks all. The basic problem seems to be that my swiftflow 100 fails occasionally and when the chap comes he removes the case, then a tube from the flue fan and then he blows in the tube. Hey presto it works fine again even though its 15 years old. I can't help feeling it may need some sort of switch replacing (?? venturi). All I get is pressure to buy a new boiler even though it is overall satisfactory apart from the issue described above. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi
If you need to replace your combi boiler there really is now only one choice for combi's 'INTERGAS' many may not have heard of it, it does not use the same method of heating the domestic water as the others.
It will supplier hot water at a much better flow rate and does not use the pump to supplier domestic hot water. It can also be used as an open vent combi!
It is Dutch and outsells remeha there.
ps
It is also amazingly quiet
