    Type of boarding for trailer?

I need to repair / replace the boarding on my car trailer. Is it ok to use OSB board or should it be 12mm marine Ply, as it currently is? The former I assume being cheaper.

Composite door hinge adjustment and draught

When you say that the installer "doesn't want to know", how long ago was it installed? You should have a year's guarantee at least. If still being ghosted, speak to the governing body that they're a member of. Hinges are usually adjustable, assuming it's not the door itself that is warped? Can...

Vibrating sound in house when wind blows

As for the sound, I was going to suggest tv aerial etc but having listened to it, it sounds more like a loose panel or sheet of some sort. It's going to be difficult to resolve without full and free access to the whole of the property. I'd suggest walk around and see where it gets louder. Open...

Vibrating sound in house when wind blows

You need to speak to someone. NO-ONE should suffer living with any abuse of any kind. What age are you? Are you still a 'minor'? First point of call, speak to your GP but ensure it is done in confidentiality. If you're a child (under 18) then you can start with Child-line.

chinese diesel heater, (12V webasto style)

Mine is a Vevor. We bought it direct, online. We haven't used it a great deal tbh but it heats up nicely when we do. We'll run it for probably an hour, once a morning, if outside temp is near freezing.

chinese diesel heater, (12V webasto style)

I have one, installed on the underside of my van converted camper. It's a cheapo Chinese one. Works fine though. I believe that the Eberspacher ones are a better brand although only going on what people have said in the forums.

chinese diesel heater, (12V webasto style)

There's a FB group for Chinese diesel heaters. Have a look on there. Pretty much anything and everything has been discussed before plus, some very knowledgeable persons in the group. https://m.facebook.com/groups/212813887001237/

Core drilled through end of Lintel & metal showing

You certainly don't want the extractor venting into the cavity. Just be sure that the pipe is properly connected to the outside vent cover. Personally, I'd be using the metal sleeve. The flexi pipes aren't very strong and are easily snagged. Also, you don't want to be plastering around a flexi-pipe.

Core drilled through end of Lintel & metal showing

In my humble opinion I don't it as a problem. Is it just the end of the lintel nipped? What size span is the window? He'll obviously be fitting a metal sleeve through the wall which'll have a louvre cover on the outside and the flexi vent pipe shown will attach on the inside. Filling with...

Shower temp fluctuating after new radiators installed - plumber says not his work?

Does the system need bleeding and subsequent topping up? Are all the rads throughout the house, particularity those upstairs inc any towel rails, getting fully warm / hot at both their top and the bottoms? I'm not a plumber so just a guess really.

Is it possible to replace this blind with the curtain pole

Looks good. The only thing I'd say is, you don't need so much overhang to the left of the left hand fixing. You need enough width fir one ring only. Presumably it slides into itself? Good job though! If you're concerned about the pole dropping out of the plate on the right, fix another plate the...
