Atag A325 drenching in condensate when cold

So this winter was much colder than usual and apparently my boiler can't handle it. When the outside temperature dipped below -5 degrees C, my boiler started having intermittent fan errors. When the engineer opened up the boiler, it was drenched all over and there was a puddle of water resting...

ATAG IC Economiser 35 - Newly installed

I did notice your other thread dilalio which is why I was hoping you might have found a price. My builder's RGI is suggesting Vaillant so I'm not sure if he would be willing to go through the hassle of sourcing an Atag. I can buy the A series model online myself and ask him to fit it but I'm not...

ATAG IC Economiser 35 - Newly installed

I get that Atag won't sell to the general public but since you guys have first hand experience, you might know what the purchase price is. I'm leaning towards A325EC as I assume that the 27 will be well into the 1000s but I don't know for sure

ATAG IC Economiser 35 - Newly installed

I'm looking into getting an iC Economiser 27 but I can't find a price anywhere. I'm also considering what I assume is its predecessor, the A325EC. Would be ok with a less powerful boiler but I like the idea of the flue gas heat recovery system. Can anyone advise on how much the 27 is inc VAT?

Serviceable cabling and plumbing (no chasing) in home enviro

That Salag skirting board is exactly the sort of ideas I'm looking for. http://www.salag.com/site/en/listwy/2,Offer/ It looks you can only put wiring in there. I wonder if there's a double decker version where you can put water pipes at the bottom (ideally with enough room for lagging). Do...

Serviceable cabling and plumbing (no chasing) in home enviro

Well I used trunking and conduits in a general sense... I guess containment was the right word. I've seen some examples of exposed pipe work but I would still prefer them to be hidden (not buried). Do you have any suggestions?

Serviceable cabling and plumbing (no chasing) in home enviro

At some point I will need to rewire/replumb my house and wanted to know if hiding all this under floor boards and inside walls is absolutely necessary. House is a typical 3 bed with bathroom upstairs built in the 60s. Idea is that I can easily maintain and add to wiring and plumbing without...
