At some point I will need to rewire/replumb my house and wanted to know if hiding all this under floor boards and inside walls is absolutely necessary. House is a typical 3 bed with bathroom upstairs built in the 60s.
Idea is that I can easily maintain and add to wiring and plumbing without having to make good afterwards.
Is this against regulations? If not, has anyone got any advice and examples I can draw inspiration from. I know trunking and conduits are “ugly” but I’m sure there’s ways to minimize that impact if done right.
