Hey Some movement above a window from ages ago! Going to refresh the landing either paint so was going to tidy this up Am I best giving it a light sand? Then pva? Then just grabbing a small tub of ready mixed plaster to tidy it up. Thanks

Not much play in pipes.they move up and down abit but restricted by floorboard below on front to back movement

There is no drafts from the floor and its normally carpeted and on the 1st floor and doesn't feel cold. cold seems to sit round the external walls/window mainly

ahh is that poor yeah cavity walls, yeah want to try squeeze in as much as i can but limited with space around upvc, window frame etc I could possibly get away with 40/50mm on the long wall, and then drop it 27mm board for the other wall with window in.

Morning :) Is it a massive job to swap out a gas rayburn to a new boiler? Currently have a rayburn which does the hot water (constantly lit burning gas) & the heating on the other side which we use in winter. It doesnt have eat the gas and with the prices the way they are im looking to swap to...

Solid concrere floor on other side of the room, so ideally not possible to go under and save ripping up all the laminate in the kitchen side. Cheers :)
