    boiler in loft!!!

Thanks My main concern is that it is a shared loft. If there is no problem with a boiler being there in principle then that's great. I did have scottish gas out and they didn't mention it they simply said that we needed lighting before they would service it. Today though another tradesman...

    bath Panel

Hi, I am having a bathroom installed and would like to have tiles up the side of the bath instead of a bath panel. The installer doesn't seem too keen to do this, is this really problematic I presume he would have to build some kind of internal frame and know how thick the tiles will be...

    expasion tank overflow

I have a pipe in the bathroom (1880's top floor flat) which stops over the bath. I think this is the overflow from either the water tank or expansion tank in the loft. system drain point

Cheers for that. i'm i right in thinking that the proceedure would then be: Close the valve to the rising main stopping the expansion tank filling, then do your trick with the isolation valve. then the system will drain allowing me to carry out any work i need to. Then connect...

    radiator fittings

This may be a stupid question but I want to put a 90 degree bend from the end of the exsisting radiator fittings so that I can fit a towel rail which is fed from the bottom. The exsisting valves have a small thread. Will I be able to simply buy a 90 degree compression joint? If so how would I...

    soil pipe problem

I am considering replacing my bathroom suite (old for new swap) in a new flat and have noticed that the soil pip has been covered in expanding foam. I guess this was to cure a leak at some point? If there is a crack in the soil pipe is there any way to cure this, my first thought was put a...
