    Try the Multi Purpose cleaner they sell in the supermarkets (yellow stuff), it seems to clean and get rid of pests much better then bleach also put a cap full in the cistern so there is always some in the water when you flush Use plenty, it smells a lot better than bleach!

    I've just replaced a 15mm isolator valve, when I took the old one off the olive was right on the end of the pipe, looks like the pipe was not pushed in fully before it was tightened up There's probably about 1mm of pipe though the olive Will this cause any problems, if I leave it like this...

    Just stripped the wallpaper of and I've noticed that there are lots of holes drilled in the lintels above the windows I'm guessing different curtains that have been fitted over the years, will this weaken the lintels its a 1950's house with concrete lintels

    I’ve only got two types of grease LM clutch grease for splines! I’ve just changed the o rings for some new ones, I was going to give it a good clean but the plastic bush looked like it would snap if I took it apart, so I’ve just given it a wipe!
