Concealed shower issue, thread too short?

Hi All, Fitting a concealed shower and currently fitting the handheld part but the thread appears too short? I’ve pictured what I’m playing with, what am I doing wrong!? I can get away with just about 2 turns once the tiles and adhesive is on, to me that doesn’t sound sufficient? Any help is...

    Where to fit spigot?

Thanks for your input everyone. What I thought to be the easiest job turned into a ball ache. I’ve never done under sink work and will try to avoid it in the future! Anyway, here is my solution for now, it works.

    Where to fit spigot?

The challenge I have is getting the pipework to marry up correctly. I think I might have a solution: One of these: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-flexcon4-flexible-connector-white-40-x-157-242mm/86386 to be fitted in between both of the exposed pipework here:

    Where to fit spigot?

    Where to fit spigot?

Hi Everyone, I have purchased a spigot kit (this one) whereby I “drill” into the existing pipework to enable me to feed out my washing machine waste. I’m a little unsure as to where I’m best to fit this kit on my pipework. I assume where I have highlighted in orange below would be ideal but...

    Dishwasher Waste

Just to update this topic, I have found this contraption that allows me to retain my current pipework but "bore" out a hole and fit a drain out in my existing pipework. https://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-drain-out-kit/75883 If you were me, based on the photo in my first post, where...

    Dishwasher Waste

Hi All I’m planning on fitting a dishwasher over the next week or so and keen to know which contraption I need in order to plumb in the waste outlet. With so many options I’m keen to avoid over engineering something which is probably not needed and can be done for less than a tenner...

What is this on my washing machine inlet?

Hi All, Planning to fit a dishwasher over the week so just mapping out my options under the sink. Ideally I wanted to tee off the washing machine inlet below but wanted to know what this box is attached to the hose? Any ideas!?

Damp Brickwork - Single Skin Garage

That stuff appears to be what I’m looking for, assuming it’s as good as his makes out! Thanks for that, I reckon that’s a winner at the moment. Here is the door: My thoughts exactly, but I honestly see no trace. From what I can see, it could do with some repointing which would clearly...
