We moved into a house recently that has a very dark hardwood staircase. We are keen to lighten it up however possible - ideally it would be light oak but given the dark hardwood I guess it's not possible to "lighten" the wood and we are looking at painting? Would welcome some expert opinion...

Well I powered off the mains and swapped it over - all works fine except the on position on the Grasslin switches the CH off and the off position switches the CH on. I guess I need to swap wires 3 and 5 over? Paul
