hello all does any one know what flashing 40 and 90 together on the temp gauge is. have tried the usual things. so before i give the owner the bad news just wondering if there's any secrets.

I'm being told to fit a shower at home, being a gas chap and not a plumber i've never fitted a shower base, it's being installed on a wood floor,is tile adhesive the best thing to stick it down? or is there a trick of the trade.

only had one problem with halsteads going to lock out, and i've cleaned out the venturi on the fan.

when you say valve jammed, do you know what kind of valves you have?

have you got another pipe teeing of the pipe exiting the cylinder

is there water in the rads

If it's just started doing this then it's the ball valve. If it's always done this then try and bend the ball valve arm down a little

see if you can locate the header tank first, the smaller of the storage tanks, and see if there's any water in there.

I take it you've got some flux on there?

How hot are your rads?

Just check that the valve is not catching on the side of the tank.

I would. drain off again, disconnect the return pipe on the boiler (lowest one) clean out any debris that's in there.

Have you re-pressurized?

Are you shure darkwood that the 15mm pipe is the gas?
