How do I remove and replace my window for a new sofa?

I had this problem. Sofa arrived, wouldn't go through the door. I rang a window man and they took the pane out for about £20 iirc. It actually much easier than trying to get it through the door!

    tiles for skirting?

yeah, nice and even. Just will be quite a skinny amount of adhesive. shall I use a small square-notched wall tile float? or the large semi-circular floor one? (or is that what you meant when you said use the same adhesive?)

cleaning tiles post adhesive, pre sealing

hmm, fair enough. On the occasion I layed travertine, I sealed after I layed it (before grouting) and it was fine.

cleaning tiles post adhesive, pre sealing

isn't that a wee bit of scaremongering? I was under the impression that it is perfectly feasible to seal after laying and before grouting?

cleaning tiles post adhesive, pre sealing

I've layed my tiles and they're a bit mucky with water from the tile cutter and dirty water from cleaning bits of stray adhesive. I want to get the tiles really clean before I seal them. Should I use any kind of product, or just clean fresh water (repeat) (repeat) etc!
