somehow the pin got broke , getting a new pin as a spare , do you prise the inner plastic door case off gently in order to refit new plastic pin ? is it straightforward or is there a special method ? :oops:

ch works fine , hw to all taps works fine , shower recently can't always fire up the boiler . removed grohe shower fixing , cleaned dirt filters , proved thermostat valve works . how can i start to reslove this problem ? is this a boiler fault? :oops:

m/c worked normally until after decorating project .. then got the nickname "screaming vera" .. m/c taken apart (inc filters) and thoroughly cleaned .. best suction ever but you need ear defenders to use our "vera" ... have i done the motor in or can it be rectified ? :oops:

just got lumiance giotto 305 fittings .. surface mounted .. recommends a 2d 4pin 28w bulb .. could i put a 2d 4pin 16w bulb in some of these fittings

whichever wash selected machine fails to enter final spin phase , if switch off then on again it will decide to enter the spin phase and complete! could it be this old machine is ready for retirement or is a repair possible ???

just been putting a new L shaped kitchen in. in the corner for about 2 feet , one wall runs off a straight line by about 1 cm from the back of the worktop. i hoped to use 100x100 wall tiles have i got a big problem or do you just put plenty of adhesive behind the tiles to get a level run ...

shower waste runs under floor turns at an angle is joined by basin waste then straight outside to the drains. basin waste water flys down the pipes shower water used to flow away nicely NOW ....... shower waste water VERY SLOW threatens to overflow shallow trap of shower clean basin waste...

i used the ptfe tape with a good tighten up and the problem seems to have gone away .............. thanks chaps .. :lol:

lots of water in boiler casing was traced to the auto air vent where it screws into the fixed captive nut ..... tightening doesnt stop it .... whats the best way to sort this out ????

always had a problem with hot taps in bathroom. Firmly tightened up each tap plus rubber washer above....plastic nut underneath. if you run cold water through them , the taps remain in position perfectly just like the cold taps.. when hot water runs thru the taps for a long time .. when...

having left the boiler in constant mode next day , while breakfasting i heard a number of fire ups then low and behold LIFE ..... must have been a sticky diverter which freed itself. now there is C/H and H/W .... praise the lord ..........
