hi all ,
i want to move a hw cylinder from the 1st floor bathroom to the loft, the system is a standard indirect hot water system with cold cistern and expansion tank in loft and boiler on ground floor ,(about a 6ft vertical move)
1.is there a minnimum height needed between cold storage...
i will check flow rate and yes shower is fitted with a rose head, not sure about restrictors ,i take it by checking the flow rate i will know if fitted with restrictor.

any sugs for the best trap to cope with megaflow powered shower,i have tried several to no avail, are the venturi style traps any good or would a shallow bath trap give better performance?
ps waste pipework is all standard 1.5"

i need to isolate the water supply to the bathroom shower,it is supplied by a megaflow cylinder,do i just turn off the mains cw supply to the mega flow ,does this in turn stop the hw water flow from the megaflow to the shower as well?

hi all
i am tiling a shower cubicle and wanted to know if you can secure aquapanel backing board direct onto a solid wall ,without the use wooden batons,
is there a reason you shouldnt secure direct to the wall?
thanks
yes i see your point,
i think i will fit a termostatic mixer with a pump fitted at base of hw cylinder,cw tank is ok 50gallon,and leave the electric/power shower alone.
thanks for the help.
havent bought shower unit yet,and yes cold only, just wasnt sure if pump pressure would allow sufficent time for water to be heated by elec shower unit ,
thanks
