Am looking to replace old cupboard doors and drawer-fronts, but the sizes may be from the late 1970s, as I've not been able to source a match, so far.
Example sizes are:
500(Width) x 600(Height)
300 x 600
300 x 900
600 x 600
500 x 900
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated...

I have a few pine (spindle-backed) kitchen chairs, which are falling apart.
Can anyone advise me please what is the best adhesive to use to repair them?
Thanks in advance.
Have encountered Gyproc plasterboard, with a number (1440843) stamped on the back of it.
Can I tell what thickness it would be, from the above number??
The property was built in 1982-83.
Hi there,
I have removed an old bathroom suite and all the old wall tiles.
In a lot of places, the tiles have taken the thin layer of finish with it, exposing rendered wall.
Can I stick the new tiles on that surface, or do I need the walls levelled, or worse still, re-skimmed first...

Hi, we have a bedroom which was papered 20 years ago with a shiny-surfaced paper, almost like a vinyl.
I presume I cannot paper straight over that - but if I peel the top layer off, could I paper on the next layer, which is just the flat/dull backing paper paper, or would that bubble once the...
Hi, am trying to replace an old rad, without having to alter the existing pipework.
The dimensions of the old double rad are 1540mm wide, by 420mm high (although the height is not critical).
These measurements are of the body of the rad, excluding the connections at either end.
Does...
I have a radiator falling off the wall, because the house is 1900s, and the wall where one of the brackets was attached is disintegrating.
I plan to shut off the rad, remove it, and patch the wall with a strong mix mortar (2 to 1, maybe?) Do I need any bonding or finish, bearing in mind that...
The 2-way valve on my HW developed an intermittent fault, which was tripping the RCD on my consumer unit, so I was advised to replace the 2-way valve.
I drained down the CH system, removed the old valve, fitted the new one, and released the ballcock to fill the CH system again. I've not been...
Hi - I have a GLOW WORM HIDEAWAY 90 BOILER (G.C No. 41-313-84), which has started tripping my sockets RCD.
Dare I say, it used to all work fine, and nothing new has been done to it.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received....

Hi - have tried replacing a dead DM4601 with a new DM5601. Wired it all the same, but it doesn't work - it sits in the three quarter way round position, and doesn't move when I change from HW to RADS, etc.
Any advice?
Does anyone know if you can buy 2 external lights, with 1 PIR sensor controlling both lights, or would I have to buy 2 with sensors, and alter the wiring?
Any advice would be appreciated...
Hi - I have several old rads to replace with new - all the measurements are a few inches out - too narrow, or too wide - is there anything on the market which means I won't need to alter the pipework?
Thanks in advance...
I have a dripping Bristan Colonial tap, I guess its the washer, however I can't even get at the screw holding the tap on, as the little plastic cover won't budge!
When I try to ease it with the point of a blade, little bits of it chip off, and it just won't budge.
Any advice much...
Hi - the spin cycle sounds really gravelly, and eventually shows an E20 error message, which seems is related to the drain, pump, etc.
I have already cleaned/emptied the filter from the small access door on the bottom/right of the machine, but cannot access beyond that.
My question is how...
