    Glow Worm Ultracom 30 HXI

Guys, My mother seems to be having problems with her Glow Worm boiler. It was installed 2 years ago but to my recollection it's never worked properly. The problem she seems to be having is that the boiler only seems to heat for a while before the burner goes to minimum. I have set the...

Hot water in cold water storage tank

Funnilyenough I isolated both the basin and shower which utilise the tank and pump that they are also joined to, however I was not starting with a cold tank of water so that may well be it. I'll keep you posted. Terry

Hot water in cold water storage tank

Sorry should have said it is an open vented system, heated indirectly. Although there is an immersion heater this is turned off (I've tested for voltage). I was assuming that this would be steam venting into the tank but what would cause it? Thanks for your replies so far. Terry

    Glow Worm Ultimate 50BF

Hey guys, Apologies for the delay in replying to the last post. Been away to the Highlands (great open fire), came home to my cold house. I tested the voltage to the gas valve and this remained at 240 when the valve clicked off (continuing to do so). After about 10 minutes or so the boiler...

    Potterton EP2002

Guys, Iwonder if you could tell me whether or not the Potterton EP2002 programmer is a direct replacement for the EP2001. If so is it a matter of just attaching the programmer to the existing wall plate or is a little bit of rewiring necessary. Many thanks, Terry
