03 Vivaro Indicator causes instrument panel lights to go off

Hi all,

Wonder if anyone can help? Up until recently, this issue happened every now and then, but now it’s most times I indicate left, and occasionally turning right, that the instrument panel goes completely black. Not sure, but have a feeling it may also be affecting the rear night lights too.

I’ve checked the connections to the instrument panel, they appear to be ok. When it happens, slight turn of the headlight stalk appears to bring the lights back on, but it’s getting annoying.

Unfortunately the Vivaro has many dashboard issues which can cause all sorts of bizarre faults.
It could be worth contacting BBA Reman or ecutesting.com for advice before replacing anything. This generally means the dash has to be sent away for testing but its easy to remove and data such as the mileage etc isn’t affected.
